英語で面接を受ける

　今回のテーマは、英語の面接です。
英大きく3つのパートに分けて書いていきます。面接をする際、本題に入る前に、少し簡単に応募者と話しをされることもあると思います。まずは、その例を挙げたいと思います。

1：OPENING／はじめに
　Ms. Okuda, please come in. How are you today?
　／奥田さん、どうぞお入り下さい。今日の調子はいかがですか？
　Please come this way. Please have a seat. ／こちらにお越しください。どうぞお掛けください。
　Thank you very much for waiting. ／お待ちいただき、ありがとうございます。
　I am sorry to keep you waiting. ／お待たせして申し訳ありません。
　Thank you for coming today. ／今日はお越し頂き、ありがとうございます。
　Did you find our office easily? (Did you have any troubles to find our office?)
　／弊社の場所は簡単に分かりましたか？
　It's a beautiful day isn't it? ／今日は良い天気ですね。
　Are you ready to start? ／準備は良いですか？
　Can you hear me and see me clearly? ／（Web面接などの場合）私の声がちゃんと聞こえ、顔も見えますか？
次に面接の本題に入っていきましょう。どのような質問例や表現があるか、例を挙げます。

2：MAIN PART／本題
　Tell me about yourself. ／あなたのことを教えて下さい。
　What are your greatest strengths? ／あなたの強みは何ですか？
　What is your biggest weakness? ／あなたの弱みは何ですか？
　Why are you applying for this position? ／なぜこのポジションに応募したのですか？
　What do you know about this company? ／弊社について知っていることを教えて下さい。
　Please name three competitors. How do you think we stand out from these competitors?
　／他に（面接を）受けている企業を3つ答えてください。それらの企業より弊社は勝っていると思いますか。
　Where do you want to be in 10 years? (What do you hope to be doing in 10 years from now?)
　／10年後にはどのようになっていたいですか？
　What skills do you have which you could bring to this position?
　／あなたが持っているスキルでこのポジションに役立つものは何ですか？
　How many people do you supervise on your current job? ／現職では何人の部下がいますか？
　Do you think you are a good manager? How do you motivate your subordinates?
　／あなた自身は良いマネージャーだと思いますか？どのように部下をやる気にさせていますか？
　How do you think you stand out from other applicants for this job?
　／この仕事において他の応募者より勝っているところはどこですか？
　Are you aggressive (innovative / creative / motivated / a team player) ?
　／あなたはアグレッシブ（革新的／クリエイティブ／自発的／チームプレーヤー）ですか？
　Could you tell me a time when you worked under the pressure?
　／プレッシャーの元で働いた時のことを教えて下さい。
　Would you be willing to transfer (relocate) [to overseas office in the future] ?
　／［海外オフィスへの］転勤に応じてもらえますか？

＜新卒採用＞
　What are you studying at your university? Are there any connections between the position and your studies?
　／大学では何を勉強していますか？勉強していることと、この仕事とは関係ありますか？
　What were your extracurricular activities in university? ／課外活動は何をしていましたか？
　What has been your greatest achievement in university? ／大学で最も成し遂げたことは何ですか？
　Can you give me an example of challenges that you faced and how you overcame it?
　／挑戦したことを1つ教えて下さい。また、どのように乗り越えたのかも教えて下さい。
＜中途採用＞
　Why do you want to leave your current employer? ／なぜ、現職を辞めたいと思っているのですか？
最後に面接の締めで使える表現をお伝えします。

3：CLOSING／最後に
　That's all for me today, do you have any questions? ／私からは以上です。何か質問はありますか？
　Is there anything that you would like to say before we finish? ／最後に何か言いたいことはありますか？
　It was a pleasure meeting with you today. ／今日はお会いできてよかったです。
　Thank you very much for your coming today. ／今日はお越し頂き、ありがとうございました。
　We will let you know the results by next week. If you pass, we will send you the details of the next step.
　／結果は、来週までにご連絡します。もし合格していれば、次のステップについての詳細をお送りします。

　A: I have been in the marketing field for about 6 years and managed several projects.
　　 I currently work for 〇〇〇〇〇 Inc. as a marketing specialist.
　　My most recent accomplishment was increasing sales of 30% every year of the licensed brand which I was in charge of.
　　I am sure that I have excellent communication skills so that I could establish good relationship with clients as well as
　　sales rep to achieve increased sales.
　　／私は、マーケティングの分野で約6年間働いており、様々なプロジェクトを担当してきました。
　　　現在は、〇〇〇〇〇会社でマーケティングスペシャリストとして働いています。

　I: Thank you very much. I clearly understand that you made great results on your current job.

　A: Actually, I enjoy working for my current company.
　　 But, my company is really small and conservative so that there are little chances to challenge.
　　 As your company is now going to new market and trying to hire professionals who have different backgrounds,
　　 I would like to apply my skills such as excellent communication skills, marketing research skills and language skills
　　 to make a positive contribution to your company.

　A: Yes, I prefer to work as a member of a team. I am sure that it is important to work as a team to complete a project.
　　 I experienced several team projects and completed them successfully. On the other hand, I can work well alone.
　　 I also completed some projects by myself.

　　　プロジェクトを完了させるためには、チームで働くことが大切だと思っています。
　　　私はチームでのプロジェクトを何度も経験しており、成功裡に収めています。

　I: Very good. The position that you are applying for needs team work skill, so we prefer a person who likes to work
